There you will find the comprehensive list of states with mandated disability or paid family & medical leave programs. Pay close attention to any 2024 updates to the state rates, benefit maximums, and premium contribution limits.

Reminder of Short-Term Disability new email address and discontinuation of old inboxes

New email address: [email protected]

As previously communicated in 2023, Sun Life is improving its Short-Term Disability claims experience by doing more to match claims complexity to analyst experience. As we maximize experienced talent across our claim organization, we have moved away from regionally based claims teams (and regional “RCC” email addresses). As you may have noticed, the updates that you receive from claim analysts now appear in your inbox from the new email address, [email protected]. This will continue to be the email address to use going forward. While the previous RCC email addresses were auto forwarding emails to the new inbox, this will be discontinued on February 23, 2024. If you have been using the old RCC email address, please do not use it after this date because the auto forwarding will be turned off.
