Last fall, Sun Life held a timely and relevant panelist discussion, Creating a culture of mental wellness, with Sun Life Human Resources executives, and national expert Christine M. Crawford, M.D., MPH, Associate Medical Director, National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). After our well-attended virtual event, we heard that many employers are interested in building out a robust Employer Resource Group (ERG) program in their organization.
Using Sun Life’s experience in that category, along with input from leaders in the organization, we are delighted to present a “Getting Started with Employer Resource Group” digital experience page. Lack of diversity and inclusion can often be a stumbling block to creating a culture of mental wellness at work, and ERGs can be a great tangible first step towards building that in all organizations.
