Claims—including wellness/cancer screening benefits where applicable—can now be submitted online through a simple guided intake process—at the desktop or on mobile device. Sun Life announces agreement to acquire DentaQuest
We are excited to share that Sun Life has reached an agreement to acquire DentaQuest, a leading provider of dental benefits and oral care across the Medicaid, Medicare and commercial segments. We are looking forward to combining DentaQuest’s strength in dental programs with our national provider network to further drive our mission of providing our Clients with high quality dental care and insurance benefits. The acquisition is expected to close in the first half of 2022, subject to receipt of regulatory approvals and satisfaction of customary closing conditions.

Forbes recognizes Sun Life as one of America’s best dental insurers
Sun Life U.S. has been recognized by Forbes as one of America’s Best Insurance Companies for dental insurance. The recognition is derived from a survey of 16,000 U.S. consumers who provided insights on their overall satisfaction with the insurance products and their willingness to recommend them to others. Forbes also assessed customer service, financial advice, price/performance ratio, transparency and damage/benefit ratio.

Sun Life web browser support update
Beginning December 1, Sun Life will discontinue support for the Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) web browser. If you are using IE11 or an older web browser, accessing your Sun Life account and Sun Life web properties after December 1 may result in display issues. We recommend upgrading your web browser to the newest version of Edge, Chrome, Firefox, or Safari.
